Eden Project Morecambe
Inspired by the original Eden Project in Cornwall, the new attraction aims to reconnect visitors with nature through immersive exhibits, sustainable architecture and community engagement.
Eden Project Morecambe reimagines Morecambe as a seaside resort for the 21st century inspiring wonder and a connection with the natural world drawing on the Eden Project’s focus on education, ecology and community.
There will be
- Three large, shell shaped pavilions containing themed environments such as immersive theatre spaces and a natural observatory.
- An outdoor arena with a 6,000 person capacity for hosting major musical events.
- Outdoor gardens including the Rhythm garden and Tide garden which will reflect the local coastal ecology
- Interactive play areas, well being spaces, treehouses and public spaces designed to integrate with the surrounding promenade.
- Food and retail outlets.
Eden Project Morecambe will be a destination combining indoor and outdoor experiences, connecting visitors with the internationally significant natural environment of Morecambe Bay while also enhancing wellbeing.
